Did you notice at the end of the video, the crowd was large, but it was mostly people standing around taking pictures? As I think through the statement you made – which is probably more important than we think – I wonder if leadership’s part maybe has less to do with drawing the initial crowd and more to do with setting a course and *cough* leading people along that course, once the crowd has been drawn?
Yes, I believe like a number of others that we place greater emphasis on leadership and not enough attention to the elements of follower(s). Particularly within the western church context. This short clip has multiple messages that are crucial for current leadership paradigms.
